Grown-ups and little ones will love this Peter Rabbit themed afternoon tea with touches like Mr McGregor's stolen vegetables, Jemima Puddle-Duck's mini eggs, and even a Peter Rabbit made using the gingerbread recipe from Potter's own recipe book.
Peter Rabbit and Friends
If you love Peter Rabbit and all his friends then you will love this! An 'edible garden' tea inspired by Beatrix Potter's stories of Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Jemima Puddle-Duck and friends.
There's an adult version with a Herdwick Lamb pie (similar to a pork pie). Beatrix Potter kept a flock of Herdwick sheep on her farm in the Lake District. The adult tea also has a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked patisserie from our French pastry chef (including a delicious Benjamin Bunny’s carrot cake with mascarpone and orange icing), scones, clotted cream & jam and a selection of finest loose leaf teas or freshly brewed coffee.
The child version includes a healthy selection of crudites with hummus, fresh carrot and orange juice, a Peter Rabbit gingerbread and icing (a 168-year-old recipe from a recently discovered Beatrix Potter cookbook), chocolate brownie carrot patch, rhubarb and custard macaron, a scone & jam and Jemima Puddle-Duck’s mini eggs.
The full menu can be seen below.
Adult tea £25, child tea £12.50
Whether you live in Bradford on Avon, Bath, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Bristol, Cardiff, London or even further afield, this is an afternoon tea not to be missed!
