Our brand new pop-up café and bar with relaxed-style tables: make the most of the season with casual dining under cover and al fresco.
Set for the summer, The Hideout is open to guests of Woolley Grange Hotel and our glamping suites, serving freshly made food and artisan drinks.
From 10am each day, enjoy tea, coffee and cake – and from 11am, visit The Hideout’s bar, which serves a mix of soft drinks (including homemade fruit syrups) and hot drinks, as well as locally inspired beer, cider, wines, Woolley gin and alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
For lunch, there’s a wide range of seasonal and local dishes, all created in our pop-up kitchen. You’ll find freshly made pizzas using local meats from the hotel’s butcher and vegetables from Woolley Grange’s own walled garden or local suppliers, plus a selection of homemade soups and salads, tartlets of the day, freshly cooked waffles and seasonal fruit choux buns.
Between 3pm and 5pm, hang out in the bar, where you can enjoy a selection of homemade cakes and an indulgent cream tea with fresh scones and preserves.
Supper is served in two sittings, at 5.30 or 7.30pm, with a different style of food on the menu each night – ranging from barbecue to paella and curries, followed by mouthwatering desserts. As the night draws in, The Hideout comes alive, decked with festoon lighting. Choose a comfy spot to sit and while away the evening, or take your place around the large outdoor fire pit – perfect for toasting marshmallows and telling tall tales.
The Hideout closes for dining at around 9pm each night, with drinks served until late for glamping suite guests.
