We have a new addition! On 1st October The Little Library at Woolley Grange came into the world. Read on to find out more...
Here you and your family can lose yourself in the magic of a book. From very young children’s classics such as The Hungry Caterpillar and Hairy Mclary, to older children’s favourites from Roald Dahl, David Walliams and JK Rowling, there are literally hundreds of books to curl up with by one of our log fires, or on sunnier days, on the terrace or in the gardens.
Opened by Rob Biddulph on 1st October, The Little Library came alive to the sounds of children’s laughter as Rob regaled us with tales from his books, life stories and alien drawings. Rob became a household name during Lockdown for his ‘Draw with Rob’ You Tube videos, which proved a saviour to many parents who were battling with home schooling.
Large and small fans were delighted to meet him in person and draw-along with him here.
Rob stayed with us for the night and then went on to entertain a somewhat larger audience at the Bath Children’s Literature Festival. As longterm sponsors of the Festival, the largest of its kind in Europe, we were delighted to welcome its return this year.
If you’ve not been to the Bath Children’s Literature Festival do check it out for next year. You are most welcome to stay with us of course!
