Thursday 23rd December
Welcome to Christmas at Woolley!
Arrive from 1pm in time to relax and enjoy our informal buffet lunch.
To give you time to settle into your rooms, unpack and hide the presents the Woolley Bears Den are having a afternoon of activities so all the children have a chance to get to know each other or start your break by having some festive fun with our felt making masterclass.

After a hearty tea our younger guests can be tucked up in bed leaving the older children to settle down to an evening of popcorn and movies under the watchful eye of the nannies from the Den.In the evening, parents are invited to join us for a wine tasting master class hosted by our suppliers Bibbendum Wines before enjoying a relaxed dinner with some fabulous music with Jules Verne, finishing the evening off with our very own quiz night.

Friday 24th December
Woolley Winter Wonderland day!
It’s very nearly Christmas and we know that our young, and not so young guests are getting excited so there is lots planned to help the day fly by.
Start the day by joining our experienced Falconer who will lead you through the various stages of training a bird of prey, culminating in flying a bird free returning on command to your gloved fist.
Throughout the day the children can be busy preparing for Santa in the Den!

After lunch, spoil yourself with a beauty treatment in the comfort of your own room. Meanwhile children will be entertained by the wonderful Sunshine Clowns.
At the end of the day there will be a very special visitor to hear your children’s final Christmas wish list, listen for the sound of the bells and you will know he has arrived! After children’ tea they can once again enjoy popcorn and movies allowing you to indulge in a very special Christmas Eve.

Our Local Carol singers from Christchurch will join you in the early evening to really set the festive mood while you enjoy a glass of champagne by the fireside. During the evening listen to the beautiful sounds of our harpist, Claire Dibble whilst being entertained by our award winning magician Chris Priest before enjoying our menu gourmand. (Black Tie).

Saturday 25th December
Its Christmas!
This is our favourite day of the year, presents appear as if by magic and the jolly chap with the big white beard even finds time to come and see us! We hope you have been good all year?
Champagne and canapés will be served before a traditional family Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. The children can then enjoy an afternoon of supervised fun with the Den staff whist you relax.
A traditional pantry buffet will be served in the evening so that you have time to unwind as a family, enjoy the day and rediscover the delights of traditional board games by the fire.

Sunday 26th December
After a leisurely breakfast why not take a strong around the lovely town of Bradford on Avon.

It’s the children’s turn to try their hands and have some fun at Felt Making this morning. For the competitive ones the Hen House will be games challenge HQ, parents may be allowed to join in at your children’s discretion.

After lunch the children can be transformed into their favourite superhero, or butterfly with our face painters in the Den. Join our sheepdog trainer this afternoon as she demonstrates the skill, intelligence and flexibility of her sheepdogs with her entertaining displays of sheepdog handling and duck herding.

Popcorn and movies are available again this evening to occupy our younger guests under the supervision of the Den nannies.
Footballers & WAGS will set the theme tonight, we look forward to seeing your sartorial elegance. Tonight’s entertainment defies description, and is guaranteed fun! To keep the party atmosphere going after an opulent dinner we invite you to play the Woolley Casino into the small hours.

After breakfast we wish you fond farewell and a speedy return.
