Useful information for Mums and Dads

Welcome to a hotel that positively welcomes children from the moment they arrive until the often tearful goodbyes!

The first port of call for our youngest guests is always the Woolley Bears Den, our on–site, Ofsted registered nursery, staffed by a dedicated team of nannies. It has a wide variety of games, toys, books and music for every age group. Activities are organised around seasonal themes and there is always an opportunity to paint, stick and make.

Experience tells us that however sophisticated children’s toys become, the age old joy of dressing up, imaginative plan and building with boxes still captivates our little visitors. With this in mind, children can be as busy and involved or as quiet and relaxed as they choose to be during their time in the Den.

Nannies are on duty every day from 9:30am – 5:30pm and we recommend that young children are left for no more than two hours at a time however, parents are very welcome to spend time in here with their children and often find that it is a great opportunity to have some quality play time!

We can provide cots, highchairs, sterlisers, nappy buckets and baby food for those visiting with little ones.

Older children need space and at Woolley, they have this in abundance - space to kick a ball, bounce on a trampoline, play hide and seek, discover a great spot for a den, chill in their own play space the Hen House (home to pool table, table football, air hockey, wii and playstations) and enjoy the outdoor pool all year round.

For rainy days and lazy afternoons we have a great choice of board games, DVDs and lots of books for everyone and some yummy snacks are never too far away.

Please can we request that parents are aware that Woolley Grange and the surrounding land contain various potential hazards for young children, including the pond and swimming pool. Children should be supervised at all times in risk areas. Woolley Grange cannot be held responsible for the safety of unsupervised children.
