Our crèche

The Woolley Bears Den forms the ultimate escape for little ones from their parents. Somewhere they can let off steam, be creative and make friends, the Den provides safe childcare in a happy atmosphere.

Woolley Bears Den

The Woolley Bears Den is our Ofsted registered crèche. It is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm every day of the year* with our qualified and experienced staff.

Relaxation and spontaneity are part of a great break and so the Den operates on a drop in basis – no pre-booking required. So if you change your plans because of the weather, or how you or your child are feeling, we can be flexible to accommodate your preferences. Children are welcome for up to two hours at a time as many times during the day as you like. You are also welcome to stay in the Den until your children have settled. The Den is open before and after supervised times so you can make the most of the facility. You can also borrow games to take to your room. We want you to make yourself at home!

The Den includes a baby area, playhouses, dressing up clothes, train set and books, jigsaws and board games to name but a few. The team organise different activities such as bread making, biscuit decorating, making bird houses, scarecrow dressing, water play and pretend play in the wendy house.

We theme each month in the Den and create activities around the theme for children of different ages to enjoy.

The team will take the children down to the Good Life Garden for bug hunts and nature trails and feeding the chickens.
